It’s rare for me to create a journal page using only one medium; this spread was done using only collage (I did paint the background with black gesso, but that doesn’t really count, does it?).
A photo from my personal journal using prompts during the Creative Journaling Workshop series with Jean E. Tait. Response was good and I had lots of fun co-facilitating.
The prompts we used were designed to get participants to connect with different parts of themselves. This prompt was simply”Your Hands”:

Another journal page following the Documented Life Project prompts.

Collage, acrylics, inks.
Art journal page from December 2015 and the Documented Life Project prompts.

Upcoming Creative Visual Journaling Workshop in the Spruce Grove/Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) area for NOVEMBER 2015.
Click on the link below and it will open up the workshop page (I couldn’t get the page to load fully here) with all the info, including how to get your deposit/payment in:

Spaces are limited so if you’re interested contact Jean (preferably), or Radka ASAP!
Creative journaling takes traditional (written) journaling to a whole new level of creativity, expression, and fun! And guess what? No art experience required!!
Looking forward to creating with you!
