Rest stop along the highway, just north of Fort Steele, B.C. … about 45 minutes from home. One of the loveliest stops I’ve ever made, “just because”.
Photo by me! Taken in the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy Provincial Park and Protected Area, on our way to White Tail Lake.
Maggie. There’s nothing better than a warm summer day and fresh, soft green grass to roll around on. Well, maybe a treat is better, but for now rolling in the grass is the next best thing.
Summer 2016. My “goober”, Maggie, distracted by her buddy Mila (ninja cat, up a tree of course; after all, where else do ninja cats hang out?).
Wind-blown icicles. I love how their reflection in the window looks like mountains. There are no mountains where I live, here on the Prairies.
Mila, our ninja-cat. She’s a rescue, and about 3 years old, and I love her to bits.
October 30. 2016.
I took this photo while going for a wander through the back of our property.
I’m pretty sure this is a Painted Lady butterfly. They are very common in our area (Alberta, Canada). This one was soaking up some warmth from the sun/pebbles on our driveway.
Taken October 23, 2016.
This is a colour photograph; that’s how black/white/grey it was that day!
